Sarah Hassing is an early childhood educator of nearly 15 years, with experience as an Atelierista and an Early Childhood Program Coordinator. Sarah currently holds the position of Atelierista at The College School where she finds great joy in partnering with young children to uncover the languages that bring life to their theories, wonderings, and voices. A scholar of the Reggio Approach for many years, Sarah has attended multiple NAREA conferences and participated in study tours to Reggio Emilia, Italy, in both 2011 and 2019. She is co-author of Questions for the Sunflowers, an article published in NSTA’s Science and Children Magazine in October, 2018. Sarah is passionate about the power of dialogue amongst educators and has shared her lens on various elements of the Reggio Approach as a presenter at many local and international conferences.
